PalSingles is operated by Burnett Tech Solutions LLC (trading as Burnett Deck Tech). This page describes what we collect, why, and what we do not do.
What we collect
- Order details. Your name, email address and shipping address, and the items you bought. We need these to take payment and post you a parcel.
- Account details. If you create an account, your email address and a hashed password. Passwords are stored using bcrypt and are never recoverable in plain text, by us or anyone else. If you sign in with Google instead, we receive your email address and Google account identifier, and never see a password at all.
- A session cookie. One cookie, used to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. It is strictly necessary for the site to function, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
- Server logs. IP address, request path and timestamp, kept short-term to diagnose faults and identify abuse.
What we never see
Your card or bank details. Payment is handled entirely by PayPal on PayPal's own systems. We receive a confirmation that a payment of a given amount succeeded, and a transaction reference. Your full financial details never touch this server.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with:
- PayPal — to take payment.
- Amazon SES — to send your order confirmation and shipping notification.
- The carrier — your name and address, printed on the label.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there are no third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account records are kept until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are rotated regularly.
Your choices
Email orders@burnetttechsolutions.com to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account deleted. We will respond within 30 days. Order records attached to a completed purchase may need to be retained for tax purposes even after an account is closed.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Contact us using the details below and we will honour them.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
