This covers how you may use the PalSingles website and services. What may be sold is a separate list — see prohibited items.

Your account

One account per person or business, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Second accounts created to evade a suspension, inflate a rating or bid up your own listings are the reason this rule exists.
Give accurate information and keep it current.
Your credentials are yours. Do not share them, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has them.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Do not create an account if you are under 18, or if we have previously closed one of yours.

Attack or probe the service

Attempt to gain access to any account, system or data that is not yours.
Probe, scan or test the security of the service except under a written agreement with us.
Interfere with the service or overload it — including denial of service, and including "just testing".
Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or any technical restriction.

Good-faith security research is welcome and we would much rather hear from you than from an attacker. Contact us first, do not access other people's data, do not degrade the service, and give us a reasonable chance to fix what you find. We will not pursue researchers who follow that.

Scrape or copy the catalogue

No automated collection of listings, prices, storefronts or user data, whether by crawler, script or browser automation, except as our robots.txt permits.
Do not republish our catalogue, price data or seller information as your own dataset or competing service.
Do not harvest email addresses or contact details from anywhere on the site.

Personal, low-volume, non-commercial use of your own data — exporting your inventory, saving your order history — is fine and there are export buttons for it.

Misuse messaging

No spam, bulk messaging, or advertising other services.
No soliciting anyone to transact off PalSingles.
No phishing, impersonation, or requests for passwords or payment details. We will never ask you for your password.
No harassment. See community standards.

Manipulate the marketplace

No buying from yourself, or arranging purchases to inflate a rating or a sales count.
No reciprocal or incentivised reviews.
No bad-faith reports against competitors.
No interfering with another seller's listings, pricing or reputation.

Misrepresent yourself

Do not impersonate another person, business or PalSingles itself.
Do not claim endorsement or affiliation you do not have — including with Bushiroad or Pocketpair, with whom we are not affiliated.
Do not list references or credentials belonging to someone else.

Content you post

Listings, photographs, storefront text, reviews and messages remain yours. By posting them you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute them for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace. You confirm you have the right to post them.

We may remove content that breaks these rules. We are not obliged to monitor everything and we do not pre-screen; we act on reports and on what our own checks surface.

Automated access

We do not currently publish an API. If you want programmatic access for a legitimate purpose, ask us rather than building a scraper. A polite request has a much better success rate than a crawler that gets blocked.

Consequences

Depending on severity: content removed, account limited, account suspended, account closed. Attacks on the service, fraud and content involving the exploitation of minors are reported to law enforcement.
